Whether you are a life science graduate, fertility practitioner, or simply someone passionate about the field of fertility, Medline Academics can help you establish a brilliant career in embryology with the Fellowship in Embryology. You
know there's a lot of benefit to that but particularly for embryology I found
this super effective because I could really test my own knowledge of the
subject. And so, I think we are wrapping up the video but you have to read
through clinicals in KLM and what I would do to those clinicals is I would turn
them into Anki questions but I would not do that for all clinicals. I would do
that for the clinicals that show up in my lecture slides. So,
things that are testable will show up on your lecture slides so make sure to pay
attention to them. Don't just ignore them. I do think there is some you know
value in lecture slides so make sure to just read over them for things that you
may have missed out on and turn it into a quick Anki card. So
embryology like I mentioned in the beginning is a subject that is really based
on how well you were able to track events and you know what is the derivative
of you know let's say thing A you know so these this is this is something
important to know about the subject is that there's a lot of things happening
all at once a lot of processes and you need to be able to keep track through
maybe like a timeline in your head and really understand when different things
happen and this is something you can turn into an Anki card right so when does the
development of the upper limb happen so what week is that and so really having
that timeline I guess not mentality but the idea that there is a timeline of
events it's really good to enforce that into your studying. Making Anki cards
for things you can forget so for example derivatives of the aortic arches you
know like I said weeks and days of development knowing what develops from what
you know there's there are certain things that you do need to know and
sometimes you will forget them so it's good to turn them into Anki cards and
maybe things like congenital heart defects which are very important so turning
a couple of Anki questions out of that and the last tip I would I would
recommend is use high-yield embryology for studying during your finals if you
have additional information that you can add on there I always like to
recommend people to annotate in their review book I didn't do that personally
but I do feel like it would have merit because it would just be one review book
that you're looking over for each subject and you're not going to be all over
the place and so this allows for a little bit of a stress-free environment and
better studying and that's why I found I think this would be something
effective that I would recommend you try so obviously this is just a really
rigid study method that I'm recommending doesn't mean it has to work for you
everyone has a different style so make sure to really learn do the whole trial
and error process and learn you know how best you can actually study so this is
really an experience it's something that you learn from your mistakes so don't
be afraid to you know dive into something new dive into a new study technique
first year is all about experimentation. Mostly Indian students do read I.B. Singh being an Indian
author, but it is an amazing book. Gold standard is a standard textbook to look
into, to look up to, when you have a PG exam, like you will find all the
answers here. So, I will suggest that you follow Ninja Nerd, but if you are
having trouble understanding the content of foreign YouTubers, so you can refer
to this as well. Make sure you are making notes, make flowcharts, keep looking
at it many times, so that your work can be very easy during the exam. So, you
know, make notes in the form of asks in the exam that has the tendency to be
asked in the exam. For those who want to avail
